Outdoor Cookout

Plan on networking with your colleagues and friends at UCAOA's Poolside Cookout, on Thursday, May 27 from 5:30-7:30pm. Pre-registration is required by May 5. Cost is $20 per person. You can register for the Cookout when you register for the Convention.

Continuing Education Credits (CME)

This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 21.00 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.

AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed credit, not as Category 1.

Please note:  No CME is given for the EMR Customer Panel.  CME is given for two Special Sessions (Hospital-affiliated discussion group and "Young" Urgent Care Centers discussion group)

American Academy of Professional Coders

This program has the prior approval of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) for 7.0 continuing education hours. Granting of prior approval in no way constitues endorsement by the AAPC of the program content or the program sponsor.

Group Discounts

For 4 or more people registering together, a 20% group discount will be applied to current tuition rates under the following conditions:

  • All members of the group register simultaneously (single phone call, forms faxed or mailed together, etc.)
  • All members of the group pay with one payment (single credit card or one check)
  • Substitutions and course additions are allowed at later dates and will include the discounts
  • Additional registrants (not substitutions) will be registered at prevailing rates and not included in group discounts.

Loyalty Discount

Did you attend the Main Convention in Las Vegas?  You will automatically receive an additional $50 off your tuition!

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations received by April 23, 2010 - no penalty.
  • Cancellations received April 24-May 7, 2010 - 20% OR $75 penalty
    • $75 if UCAOA keeps balance on hold for future UCAOA program (original tuition less $75 will be held)
    • 20% penalty if balance is to be refunded (80% of original tuition will be refunded via original payment method)
  • After May 8, 2010, tuition is non-refundable
  • Membership fees are non-refundable

We will not be printing and distributing course materials for the Main Convention sessions.

Because Main Convention attendees get a choice of 4 programs an hour, 75% of the materials were effectively going to waste.
