Board of Directors
UCAOA is governed by a Board of Directors. New directors are elected by secret ballot anually by the members at the annual members meeting during the Annual Convention.
The board meets face-to-face twice annually. They communicate by e-mail and phone throughout the year to provide leadership for the association’s strategy and direction.
Committees
Several committees were created by the board and charged with projects to further the association's mission and vision.
Bylaws
The association's bylaws were updated in May 2010 by unanimous vote of the board.
As per the bylaws, UCAOA's financial statements are available for all members to review (to review, visit Members Only, look in the Resources category). The fiscal year is a calendar year.
Daily operations are managed by an Executive Director, 5 full-time staff and 2 urgent care industry consultants. Contact us to learn more about UCAOA or urgent care.
