Policy and Procedure Sample Manual
Does UCAOA have a Sample Policy and Procedure Manual? YES!
The 432 page "book" (provided on a flash drive) contains over 250 sample policies, all specific to urgent care centers. It is available in both .doc and .pdf formats.
Our project partners were DocNow Urgent Care and Millennium Health Care, both Joint Commission Accredited organizations, who donated the Administrative Policies and forms in the book. The Administrative portion of the book was edited by Kathy Crampton, RN, MBA and includes a forward by John Shufeldt, MD, JD.
The flash drive also includes a Bonus Supplement of Clinical Policies. These policies were provided by several different urgent care centers and vetted by a select team of physicians and nurses.
